Making Daughters Safe Again (MDSA) is proud to announce that we are planning a book for release in 2009 or 2010.
Our book will consist of a series of essays by survivors of mother-daughter sexual abuse, with each chapter focusing on a different aspect of being a survivor.
At this time, we are also expecting to release our information files on CD-ROM and for direct download in .pdf format. Organizations may purchase a license for unlimited nonprofit reproduction and distribution of the materials.
The goals of this book project are to:
- Educate others about mdsa
- Disseminate information about mdsa to a wider audience
- Increase society's understanding and empathy for survivors of mdsa
- Increase professional awareness of mdsa
- Provide validation for survivors of mdsa
- Provide survivors with an avenue through which they can share their personal stories and creative expression (poetry, artwork, etc.)
- Price the book at a reasonable cost
