Introduction
Since its inception in 1999, Making Daughters Safe Again has been at the forefront of the movement to educate the pubic and professionals about mother-daughter sexual abuse, and most importantly, to support survivors of mother-daughter sexual abuse. Producing a documentary is a major step toward our goal of providing accurate, affordable, visual material about mother-daughter sexual abuse for the purpose of public and professional education and awareness.
Filming
Filming was completed over two days during April 2009. We were able to record amazing footage. MDSA extends our deepest gratitude to the courageous survivors who participated.
Distribution
MDSA is dedicated to producing a documentary that will be available for viewing and/or purchase for a reasonable cost so that anyone interested in mother-daughter sexual abuse may have access to the information. Specific information will be added as it develops. We are currently in the editing phase.
